A Fun Day with Dad

On Sunday my family went to Kowhai Park and it was fun. On the way we got ice blocks and we ate them at the park. We played at the park and then we went to the go carts and we all went on it but not my mum. We went really fast and then our time was out, we then went on the bumper boats and that was even more exciting because it was a hot day and we got splashed with water, that was fun! After all that we went to Countdown and  home. What a fun day. 

Pet Day

Last Friday it was Pet day. There were lots of pet lambs and calves competing and there was even some horses to ride for the little kids. My favorite animals where the cage pets, there was rats, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs and a bird. For Pet day we had a lot of things to do like decorate a biscuit, make a fruit animal, make a pet poster, do the Young Farmers competition, puzzles, dog whistling and gum boot throwing. At the end of all the fun it was time for prize giving and lots of people got ribbons and certificates. Pet day was fun.

The Mitre Ten Challange

On Saturday there was a Mitre Ten challenge. There were lots of different schools there and some of Fordell did the challenge. I was one of the people and there was four others, Tineisha, Seth, Jaida and Ronan did it to. There was five obstacles there were, nail hammering, apple bobbing, bean bag throwing, egg and spoon race and a wheel barrow race and pushing a car. We got into numbers and then we go to our station and got ready. On your marks, get set, go! It all begins! Tineisha hammers the nail in tags, Jaida and Jaida get the apples out of a bucket, she gets none and then Seth tries, he get four of them out then tags Jaida. She has got all of them in and then tags me. I walk with an egg on a spoon and I go over a block of straw  and I did it. I hop in a wheel barrow and Ronan takes me for a ride. I hop out and get Mr Walker out of the pool and then we all push a car to the finish line! We were done and we all got a little prize, we also won best dressed.

How to have a good holiday slice

Ingredients

4 friends
1 cousin
2 cars
1 Taupo
1 Prawn Park
2 hot springs
1 relaxing time

Method

Take 1 noisy family
Add in 1 annoying cousin,
put gently in the car.
Mix well with eye spy
Add in holiday home in Taupo.
 Mix carefully a Prawn Park and hot springs together,
pour over the top of the mixture.
Leave to set for 3 days,
serve cold with a dash of shopping.

My Holiday in Taupo

In the holidays I went to Taupo with my family, my cousin and two of my best friends. First we got in the car and drove all the way to Taupo,we did stop to get some chocolate eclairs. When we got to our holiday home we got all our stuff out of the car and put them in the house and when we hopped in the house,it was beautiful. After we were all sorted, my nana and poppa came so we had lunch with them. After that we took some family photos . Later we went to AC Baths which  is a pool. It was so much fun there. We went home with aching feet. We all got dressed, had our tea and went to bed. We woke up had breakfast and after awhile we went to the Prawn Park. It was so FUN and we got to catch prawn. I caught two prawns! After we cooked them and ate them we went on a walk. On the walk you  got to feed rainbow fish and at the end of the walk we all put our feet in a foot spa. We stayed at the Prawn Park for the most of the day. Next  we went to a hot spa but it was in a river and in the spa there was rocks, sand and waterfalls. We went home and a bath and went to sleep. The last day had come and we packed all our stuff and put it in the car . Rebekah, Lauren left and went home and my family and cousin went to get fish and chips and  to the park. We went shopping,  when we went home we were  eating lollys and we stopped to get more chocolate eclairs. We we finally got home and went to bed after three big days!
