How to have a good holiday slice

Ingredients

4 friends
1 cousin
2 cars
1 Taupo
1 Prawn Park
2 hot springs
1 relaxing time

Method

Take 1 noisy family
Add in 1 annoying cousin,
put gently in the car.
Mix well with eye spy
Add in holiday home in Taupo.
 Mix carefully a Prawn Park and hot springs together,
pour over the top of the mixture.
Leave to set for 3 days,
serve cold with a dash of shopping.

My Holiday in Taupo

In the holidays I went to Taupo with my family, my cousin and two of my best friends. First we got in the car and drove all the way to Taupo,we did stop to get some chocolate eclairs. When we got to our holiday home we got all our stuff out of the car and put them in the house and when we hopped in the house,it was beautiful. After we were all sorted, my nana and poppa came so we had lunch with them. After that we took some family photos . Later we went to AC Baths which  is a pool. It was so much fun there. We went home with aching feet. We all got dressed, had our tea and went to bed. We woke up had breakfast and after awhile we went to the Prawn Park. It was so FUN and we got to catch prawn. I caught two prawns! After we cooked them and ate them we went on a walk. On the walk you  got to feed rainbow fish and at the end of the walk we all put our feet in a foot spa. We stayed at the Prawn Park for the most of the day. Next  we went to a hot spa but it was in a river and in the spa there was rocks, sand and waterfalls. We went home and a bath and went to sleep. The last day had come and we packed all our stuff and put it in the car . Rebekah, Lauren left and went home and my family and cousin went to get fish and chips and  to the park. We went shopping,  when we went home we were  eating lollys and we stopped to get more chocolate eclairs. We we finally got home and went to bed after three big days!

JabberWocky

The last Wednesday  of school , Fordell school had a production called the JabberWocky. I was in the play I was a singer with Jaida. The play was about the JabberWocky who wanted a girl to eat in three days so the mayor put on a beauty contest and whoever won went into the Tulgy Woods to be eaten Every one who was in the production had to practice hard. Ethan was the JubJub bird, Ronan was the Bandersnach and Rebekah was the JabberWocky. It was a funny play and I enjoyed it. The play was amazing and there were lots of parents watching the play.

My Report On A Bumblebee

Bumblebees are an interesting insect for many reasons. The first good reason is where it lives. This kind of insect lives in a hive with hundreds of its other species and in its hive it makes honey. Secondly what Bumblebees eat .Bumblebees eat necter and honey and they even use necter to make the honey. Lastly how bumblebees fly. Bumblebees power fly which is when you flap your wings non stop and that is what makes a buzzing sound.  Bumblebees have two pairs of wing. Bumblebees are an interesting insects for many reasons.

The Mountain Trip

On Monday Room 2 went to the Mountain for the day. First we went drove to the Mountain and then got our card. Secondly we got our helmets, boots and skis and then went out side in the cold. We got a ski lesson and after that we were free to ski on our own. It was very exciting that we were actually on the freezing cold mountain skiing. On the Mountain there was a Magic Carpet but that's just what they call it, they also have a chair lift, that's fun. After all the skiing we went on a different chair lift and got our lunch box to have something to nibble on and then went ofF skiing again. After the fun day skiing it was time to go back to school. WOW! what a day. 

The Worlds Fattest Cat

 Have you ever wondered how much the world's fattest cat weighs? Well the world's fattest cat is recorded weight is 46 pounds. One of the top 5 fattest cat lives in Qingdad ,a coastal city  in east China's Shandong. That is a fat cat. WOW!

The House Challenge

On Friday Fordell School had a house challenge. The challenge was had to make a shield for our house. We went in the Tin shed to get the instructions for it  and then we got into our house colours and started on our shields. Tawa was in room1, Kowhai was in room 2 and Miro was in room 3. We got a whole day to decorate our shields. When the houses were finished the seniors carried their shields to the Tin shed and then we had assembly.  Mr Walker pronounced the winner and sadly Tawa did not win but Kowhai was the winning house for the house challenge.
